Hybrid hotel concepts

Hybrid concepts are gaining growing significance within the hotel industry. Therefore, it was important for the Aletto Hotel at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin to combine traditional hotel features with modern and adaptable designs. The integration of our modular systems played a pivotal role in realizing this vision, enabling the hotel to establish a dynamic environment for events and pop-up stations. Three years post-opening, we sat down with Aletto’s Sales and Marketing Manager to explore the success of the implemented concept.

Concept Stage

Stage is a flexible retail system based on a mobile platform. It can be used to create display windows, changing rooms, shelves and presentation tables, among other things. The system is suitable for all store solutions that require a high degree of flexibility and mobility.

Visplay's history

Visplay and Vitra share a long history of over 85 years. Originally, they emerged from store fitting and the production of display furniture. Over time, the companies evolved and today stand as independent sibling companies. Visplay has always remained true to its roots and continues to focus on the production of modular store fitting systems.

Workation in Mexico

In recent years, there has been a fundamental shift in the way we approach work. Remote working has become increasingly popular due to its ability to offer flexibility, independence, and a better work-life balance. And now, a new trend has emerged, known as “workation,” which involves blending work and vacation. Our Project Manager, Marco, recently had the opportunity to experience this firsthand while working for Visplay from Mexico. He shares his remarkable journey with us.

Flexible walls for Multi-Lane and Air

We have added flexible walls to our Multi-Lane and Air systems. The walls can be used to structure rooms and present goods. The placement of the walls can be changed within a short time. This makes it possible to create spaces that are very flexible and can be adapted to new concepts without construction work. This enables a more sustainable use of stores and business premises.

AirClad | Visplay - The Future of Mobile Retail

On February 15 + 16. AirClad, pioneers of highly-engineered mobile structures, and Visplay hosted the joint event “The Future of Mobile Retail” in the Vitra flagship showroom in Shoreditch, UK. Together we explored how to develop a flexible approach to retail that can set new standards for commercial spaces, both in terms of quality and appearance.
