Our Story: Change as a principle

Visplay's roots trace back to 1937, when the Swiss company Graeter & Cie. was founded, specializing in display items for shop windows. What began as a small manufacturing business has evolved over nearly nine decades into a key player in modular systems for commercial and design-driven spaces.

Through continuous product innovation, Visplay has set benchmarks in the design of retail environments. Our approach has always been guided by one principle: to develop systems that enable change—functional, flexible, and durable..

Since 2001, we’ve operated under the name Visplay. With Invisible Design®, we introduced a new generation of system solutions that offer architects visual clarity without "visual noise"—while giving visual merchandisers maximum freedom in presentation.

Today, our systems extend well beyond product presentation. Recent innovations include spatial structures for flexible zoning and the full electrification of nearly all product lines. This allows lighting and electronic components to be integrated exactly where needed—free from fixed power points.
